How does treatment
work?
Getting started is simpler than you might think.
At home
You give yourself the injection at home with the easy-to-use FlexTouch® pen.*
Once a week
Just one injection a week, on the same day each week.
With or without food
Take it any time of day – whatever suits your routine.
Healthy habits
Wegovy® must be used alongside healthy changes to your diet and physical activity. Together, these healthy habits can help support long-term weight management.
Step-by-step dosing
You’ll start on a low dose that is gradually increased over five simple steps, giving your body time to adjust, until you reach the recommended maintenance dose of 2.4 mg (or the maximum dose you can tolerate).
Support along the way
Get tips, tools and guidance with the wegovycare® patient support programme.
*Based on feedback from people living with obesity using the same FlexTouch® pen for the administration of liraglutide.
